Carolyn is an assistant professor at the University of New Orleans, she has been featured in over forty national journals and anthologies, and has published two full books of poetry: Skinny, which was released in 2012 via Kore Press and most recently, Rigging a Chevy Into A Time Machine and Other Ways To Escape a Plague, which was published this year won the 2015 Trio Award and the 2015 Rochelle Ratner Memorial Award.
