New Orleans Councilmember Latoya Cantrell

PUBLIC AFFAIRS: Airs on Wednesday at 4PM and again on Sunday at 7:30AM. Lyn Koppel is joined by New Orleans Councilmember Latoya Cantrell of District B for the first segment of WRBH’s ongoing “State of the District” series. We’ll hopefully be bringing more of our councilmembers on the show as the months progress to do updates on individual districts, ask questions about ongoing problems and see what’s working.

THE WRITER’S FORUM: Tune in on Thursday at 4:30PM, Saturday at 8:30AM and Sunday at 1PM. Co-Host David Benedetto is joined by New Orleans professor, author and playwright John Biguenet to talk about the release of his collected trilogy of plays,  The Rising Water Trilogy (via LSU Press), set during and after Hurricane Katrina and the levee failures.
